**OVERSEAS POSITION JORDAN**

**POSITION**

Groundsman Gardener

**RESPONSIBLE FOR**:
Routine maintenance on extensive private property. The property has landscaped areas around the private homes. Outer buildings surrounds and yards require upkeep. This position offers variety and requires a balance of skills.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:
Horticulture Degree Or Certification highly regarded.

Experience in Greenhouse Horticulture highly regarded

Experience minimum 4 years in resort or 5 star hotel grounds or private estate

Must speak fluent English

Must be strong and fit

**KEY SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE**:
**Plant Knowledge**: Proficiency in identifying various plant species, understanding their growth requirements, and implementing appropriate care techniques to ensure optimal health and growth.

**Landscaping Skills**: Ability to design, plan, and maintain aesthetically pleasing landscapes, including knowledge of soil preparation, planting, pruning, and irrigation systems.

**Problem-Solving Abilities**: Capacity to diagnose and address plant diseases, pests, and other issues effectively, as well as adapt landscaping plans to changing environmental conditions or client preferences.

**Attention to Detail**: Meticulousness in performing tasks such as weeding, trimming, mowing, and edging to maintain tidy and visually appealing outdoor spaces.

**Physical Stamina**: Capability to perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods, including lifting heavy objects, operating machinery, and working outdoors in various weather conditions.

**Communication Skills**: Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues discussing landscaping plans, providing recommendations, and addressing any concerns or questions.

**Equipment**: Knowledge of tools and equipment used in the carrying out of gardening tasks and the ability to use the equipment safely. Knowledge of equipment maintenance and storage.

**LOCATION**:
Jordan

Client will arrange work visa and relocation if not local

**SALARY**:
USD $500- $600 To Be Negotiated DOE
