Position: Finance Executive

About Hafla: Hafla is a one-stop-shop for event organizers to discover, book, and pay for everything they need for an event. Our innovative tech platform brings together event planners, venues, equipment rental companies, caterers, artists, and a long tail of service providers to transact seamlessly. As we continue to grow and revolutionize the event planning industry, we are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Finance Executive to join our dynamic finance team.

Position Overview: As a Finance Executive at Hafla, you will play a crucial role in managing the day-to-day accounting operations and handling periodic reconciliations, primarily focusing on Accounts Payable and Reimbursements. Your financial expertise and attention to detail will contribute to the accuracy and integrity of our financial data, ensuring smooth financial operations within the organization. This is a full-time position, and the working days are from Monday to Friday.

Compensation:

- Fixed Monthly Salary: 3000 AED
- Annual Bonus: AED 6000 based on company and individual performance, paid at the end of each fiscal year.

**Responsibilities**:
Accounts Payable Management: Oversee the end-to-end process of vendor invoice processing, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies and procedures.

Reimbursement Processing: Handle employee reimbursement claims, verifying supporting documentation, and processing timely payments.

General Ledger Reconciliations: Conduct periodic reconciliations to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data, and resolve any discrepancies.

Financial Data Entry: Accurately record financial transactions and maintain up-to-date accounting records using accounting software and tools.

Expense Tracking: Monitor and analyze company expenses, identifying cost-saving opportunities and suggesting improvements in expense management.

Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, to support decision-making processes.

Compliance and Audit Support: Collaborate with internal and external auditors during financial audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations as required.

Financial Analysis: Support the finance team in various financial analysis projects, helping to identify trends and insights to improve financial performance.

Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and suggest process enhancements to streamline accounting procedures and enhance overall efficiency.

Stay Updated: Keep abreast of accounting standards, industry best practices, and relevant regulations to ensure compliance and accuracy.

**Requirements**:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required.

Experience: Approximately 3 years of relevant work experience in accounting and finance functions, preferably in a start-up or fast-paced environment.

Knowledge: Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, as well as experience with Accounts Payable and Reimbursement processes.

Software Skills: Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel for financial data management and analysis.

Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate records and perform reconciliations diligently.

Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify discrepancies and provide solutions.

Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with team members and external stakeholders.

Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment, being open to taking on new challenges and responsibilities.

Integrity: Uphold a high level of integrity and confidentiality while handling financial information.

Team Player: A positive attitude with the ability to work collaboratively within the finance team and across other departments.

**Salary**: AED3,000.00 per month
