The Marine Surveyor is responsible for conducting detailed surveys of marine environments to support projects involving dredging, reclamation, and construction supervision.

This role involves the use of advanced surveying techniques and equipment to provide accurate and reliable data on underwater topography, sediment types, and marine structures.

The Marine Surveyor plays a critical role in ensuring project success by delivering precise and actionable information.
**Your new role, what's involved?**
- Develop detailed survey plans and methodologies tailored to the specific requirements of dredging, reclamation, and construction projects.
- Implement quality control procedures to ensure the accuracy and reliability of survey data.
- Prepare detailed reports documenting survey methods, data collected, findings, and recommendations. Include visual aids such as charts, maps, and diagrams.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate survey activities with overall project plans and timelines.
- Regularly calibrate and maintain survey equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols for marine surveying operations. Ensure all team members are trained in and follow safety procedures.
- Stay current with advancements in surveying technology and methodologies. Implement new techniques and tools to improve survey efficiency and accuracy.

**We'd love to hear from you if you have**:

- Bachelor's degree in marine surveying, hydrography, geospatial sciences, oceanography, or a related field.
- Certification in hydrographic surveying from recognized bodies such as the International Hydrographic Organization (IHO) or similar.
- Several years of experience in marine surveying, particularly in projects involving dredging, reclamation, and marine construction.
- Proficiency in using hydrographic survey equipment (e.g., echo sounders, GPS, ROVs), data processing software (e.g., Hypack, Caris), and GIS tools.
- Good physical condition for fieldwork, including working on boats and in various weather conditions.
