It is the responsibility of the QAQC Manager to ensure all aspects of Company’s Policy, Environmental Policy, OHS Policy are complied with at all times, and in particular to; Company Quality Procedures, Work Instructions, Forms and international codes and standards.
- Ensure full implementation of IMS(Quality and Environmental Management System for Shiptech Drydocks Operations including the control, issuance and maintenance of IMS Manual, Company Procedures and Work Instructions and Forms
- Report on the status and effectiveness of the IMS to the GM, Board of Directors and initiate, conduct management review meetings
- Initiate reviews of the IMS and to develop proposals for improvements.
- Determine and report the main quality losses and non-conformities and to ensure that corrective actions are taken,
- Organize and / or assist training in quality related matters in conjunction with Human Resource Manager.
- In conjunction with General Manager & OPM, assist and finalize the Project Quality Plan.
- Liaise with HSE manager to get the HSE Statistics record every month and objectives and targets will be tallied.
- Ensure that suppliers are correctly evaluated from a quality perspective, conduct suppliers’ inspection visit and that suppliers’ inspection procedures and test plans are acceptable to the Company.
- Ensure that OHS policy of the Company is observed and adhered to in all levels of the organization, in conjunction with the site& workshop work,
- Maintain records and summaries of quality inspections, audits, non-conformities and customer complaints and documents defined in IMS Manual and Company Procedures.
- Ensure that major non-conformities are promptly investigated, and appropriate actions are taken.
- Establish a review schedule for the IMS to include proposal for development or improvement.
- In-charge for complete supervision of the QC Staff regarding their duties and responsibilities.
- Attend management, project meetings and authorize contact for contracted Classification Body including attendance of meetings.
- Responsible for review and approval of new and revised IMS Company Procedures, Work Instructions and Quality Forms.
- Responsible for Internal audit plan and perform the audit
- Responsible for the External audit planning along with the team
- Responsible for the operations and control of Integrated Management Services.

**Essential**

Degree Graduate with Min.10 years’ experience in this field
- Well verse in ISO 9001, ISO14001, ISO45001, Management System Company policies and department procedures, Work instructions
- Aware of all Technical details related to Marine ship repair works (Welding, NDE, Blasting & Painting, Ship Equipment’s, Components Maintenance and services
- Good knowledge of MS offices
- Good written and spoken English
- Able to work and communicate with Senior Management

**Desirable**

Experience in ISO 9001, ISO14001, ISO45001 management
- Experience Internal Auditing as Lead or Internal Auditor
- Management skills with pro-active approach
- Able to handle clients regarding Customer complaints
- Experience to handle clients / classification body with regards to vessel survey, witness testing and handling over of vessel
- Certification in Welding
- Certification NDE
- Certification in Painting

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED8,000.00 - AED10,000.00 per month
