Provide support and advise to the accounts team on accounting matters relating to the revenue recognition, expense booking, Masters creation so as to ensure that the accounting is done in line with the accounting policies.
- Regularly perform General ledger scrutiny and recommend any changes, rectifications if any based on the findings. Ensure proper Fixed Assets register is maintained by the accounts.
- Supervise the month end closing procedure to ensure that all the tasks assigned to the respective accountants are completed by the deadline as per the reporting calendar.
- Submit the monthly and annual financial report by the deadline as per the reporting calendar. Ensures that the reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles or financial reporting standards.
- Assist in implementing management review reports and ensure that the monthly management pack is in line with the requirements agreed upon.
- Perform process reengineering by identifying process improvements for the finance function
- Provide financial information for managers and other staff as required.
- Regularly verify the Input and output Tax Invoices to ensure that all the invoices booked are VAT compliant.
- Regularly resolve the VAT related queries of the accounts team by finding solutions through discussion with the finance team or with the VAT consultants.
- Regularly review the Chart of accounts and suggest the modifications wherever necessary, in line with the presentation in financial statements.
- Regularly Interpret the legislative and regulatory requirements where necessary and ensure any resulting amendments to processes or procedures are implemented after discussion with the head of the departments.
- Ensure compliance with local laws and regulations.
- Organize and take lead in quarterly cash and stock verification at different locations.
- Assist in preparing the annual budgets.
- Prepare details / information’s as required during annual audits with the external auditors and Tax audit with FTA. Finalize the respective audits in discussion with the reporting head/ division head.
- Prepare the quarterly VAT returns in liaison with the VAT consultants, get it reviewed by the department head/ division head and submit it online on time.
- Regularly review the open sales order, generate the profitability report and verify whether the sales orders closed in the month are resulting in any financial loss.
- Submit to the management the following monthly reports:

- Monthly Financial statements.
- Monthly Cash flow position.
- Monthly report compared with the budget, including providing analysis on major variances.
- Ageing of receivables with detailed comments against each outstanding.
- Ageing of payable with comments on major outstanding.
- Ageing of Inventory with comments on major slow-moving and non-moving inventories.
- Effectively communicate both internal and external of ARH:

- Regularly with the tax consultants, ensuring that all the discrepancies and corrections in the VAT invoices/ returns are resolved in time.
- Regularly review SAP reports and suggest the modification in consultation with the division/ department head.
- **Any other duties corresponding to the level of the position as may be required by the Management.**

**Qualifications**:

- CPA and/or Masters required
- 8+ years of relevant accounting/financial analysis required.
- 3+ years of supervisory experience in an Accounting managerial role required.
- Experience in using SAP
- Expert user of the Microsoft suite of products, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
