The Ducting Chargehand plays a crucial role in assisting the Ducting Foreman and supervising the installation, maintenance, and repair of ducting systems within the **Construction MEP** (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) field. This position requires hands-on experience in ductwork installation, HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) systems, and construction projects. The Ducting Chargehand supports the Foreman in coordinating tasks, leading a team of ductwork technicians, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols and project requirements.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Assistance to Foreman**:

- Collaborate with the Ducting Foreman to understand project objectives, timelines, and resource requirements.
- Assist in developing work schedules, assigning tasks to team members, and monitoring progress against project milestones.
- Act as a liaison between the Foreman and the ductwork team, conveying instructions and ensuring clarity on project expectations.
- **Team Leadership**:

- Provide hands-on guidance and support to ductwork technicians, assisting with technical tasks and problem-solving as needed.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the ductwork team, ensuring that work is carried out efficiently and to high-quality standards.
- Foster a positive work environment, promote teamwork, collaboration, and a strong commitment to safety among team members.
- **Ductwork Installation and Maintenance**:

- Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of ducting systems, including ductwork fabrication, assembly, and installation.
- Work alongside team members to ensure that ducting systems are installed correctly, in accordance with project specifications and industry standards.
- Conduct quality checks and inspections to verify the integrity and functionality of ducting installations, addressing any issues promptly.
- **Safety Compliance**:

- Enforce safety protocols and procedures on the construction site, ensuring that all work is performed in accordance with relevant safety regulations and guidelines.
- Monitor the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to safety practices among team members.
- Report any safety hazards, incidents, or violations to the Foreman and take appropriate corrective actions as necessary.
- **Material Management**:

- Assist in managing inventory of ducting materials, tools, and equipment, ensuring that adequate supplies are available for ongoing projects.
- Coordinate with procurement staff to procure materials and supplies as needed, while minimizing waste and controlling costs.
- Maintain records of material usage, inventory levels, and procurement activities for documentation and reporting purposes.

Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED2,500.00 per month
