Smyth & Co is excited to partner with a beautiful **French Mediterranean** upscale restaurant nestled in the vibrant city of **Abu Dhabi **seeking a **Junior Sommelier** to join their team, with **amazing** benefits
- **Job Title**: Junior Sommelier
- **Basic Salary**: AED 4,500/month
- **Language**: Fluency in English; additional languages such as French, Italian and Spanish are a plus
- **Accommodation**: Fully furnished shared apartment and shared room with utilities covered.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist the senior sommelier in selecting and purchasing wines for the restaurant.
- Present wine lists and help guests make wine selections.
- Serve wine and beverages to guests, ensuring high standards of service.
- Maintain proper storage conditions for wines, ensuring quality and freshness.
- Assist in inventory management and stock rotation to minimize wastage.
- Provide training to restaurant staff on wine knowledge and service techniques.
- Stay updated on wine trends, vintages, and regions to provide accurate recommendations to guests.
- Handle guest inquiries and complaints regarding wine selections or service.
- Uphold cleanliness and organization standards in the wine cellar and service areas.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure wine pairings complement the menu offerings.

**Requirements**:

- WSET Level 1 certification
- Previous experience in hospitality or wine service
- Strong knowledge of wines and regions
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Fluency in English; additional languages such as French, Italian and Spanish are a plus

**Salary**: AED4,500.00 per month
