Fulfil purchase requisition submitted by all departments with the shortest lead time. Any asset procurement to be duly approved by Director.
- Establish list of key consumables and identify 3 local suppliers of each. Regularly conduct pricing comparisons and add suppliers to approved supplier list.
- Track pricing indexes of paper to ensure paper inventory and stock on water is managed at competitive rates. Generate monthly saving report and present to GM.
- Ensure legal and ethical compliance throughout supply chain.
- Share a lead time log for all key consumable with planning so that inventory and order planning can be done effectively. To be updated every month.
- Update pricing of paper, glue & ink on weekly/monthly basis to costing team and finance.
- Lead site surveys and work scope verification in liaison with concerned department and 3rd party contractors.
- Lead all civil, facilities and power related servicing contract negotiations and awards.
- For imported consumables, ensure prompt availability and processing of documents by shipping team to avoid stock disturbance and additional cost in form of demurrage.
- Generate monthly savings report in accordance with metrics agreed with General Manager.

**QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE**

Bachelor’s in supply chain management with 5 years of experience as Purchaser preferably in same industry (Paper Industry)

**Salary**: AED2,500.00 - AED5,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Ras al-Khaimah: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Paper industry purchaser (required)
