The Medical Secretary will perform secretarial duties using specific knowledge of medical terminology and hospital, clinic, or laboratory procedures. Duties will include compiling and recording medical charts, reports, and correspondence.
**Responsibilities**:
- Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Preparing of Clinic Notes / Medical Certificate / and Sick Leave Certificate.
- Coordinate with the Doctors and Insurance Department and fulfill the documentation needed for billing purposes.
- Arrange patient referrals
- Transcribe and type medical reports
- Ensures patient safety and reports any incidents or unsafe practice to the Senior Staff Nurse/Chief Nurse
- Demonstrates an ability to assist physicians in the clinic
- To promote meaningful communication between patient, family, physicians, and employees
- Maintains a good working relationship and effective communication both within the department and with other departments for the benefit of the patient
- Respond to and follow up patients' needs, requests and concerns as appropriate
**Job Qualification**
- Preferably has a UAE Experience
- Diploma/Certification must be attested by UAE entity
- Degree from approved medical administrative program or equivalent
Ability to commute/relocate:
