As Equipment Application Engineering
- Gas Turbine you will be responsible for:

- Creating technical solutions that fulfil the needs of our customers.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide the best technical and cost-effective solution.
- Leading the definition of the project technical strategy, influencing customers towards Baker Hughes solutions by properly accounting for competitors’ technical strengths and weaknesses versus Baker Hughes offering/capabilities.
- Preparing, within the required timeline, the most attractive technical proposal at first submission (i.e. including but not limited to the selection of gas turbine and its auxiliary systems) using ITO tools and following ITO policies and procedures, implementing, where appropriate, innovative technology (NPD).
- Leading the technical negotiation, coordinating with supporting functions and attending meetings/presentations with customer.
- Handing over the technical contract to execution team in case of award.

**To be successful in this role you will**:

- Have a BSc. from an accredited university or college or equivalent work experience.
- Have experience in Engineering, Application Engineering, Technical Sales, Product management, Customer Service or equivalent technical/commercial role.
- Have product knowledge with technical skills; Ability to provide technical direction
- Have exceptional verbal and non-verbal communication skills for preparing proposals, conducting meetings, answering sales/customer questions, and writing/explaining technical aspects with dedicated presentations.
- Have Commercial acumen & leadership influencing skills.
- Be Fluent in English (written and spoken) with good communication and presentation skills.
- Be willing to work on stretched deadlines with flexible time management and available to travel on short notice.
