Duties & Responsibilities
- Inspect items: Thoroughly inspect incoming items for quantity and quality, comparing them against freight documents to ensure accuracy.
- Material organization: Efficiently bin materials according to prescribed processes, ensuring proper storage and easy retrieval.
- Equipment operation: Safely operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, to facilitate the movement of materials.
- Goods handling: Receive, issue, shelve, pick, and dispatch goods, maintaining an organized workflow and timely delivery.
- Documentation and record-keeping: Handle delivery documentation, prepare for delivery, and maintain accurate records for the stores, including daily registers and stock lists.
- Inventory management: Participate in physical inventories by counting stocks, conduct regular stock checks, and maintain a high standard of cleanliness and security in the warehouse.
- Material tracking: Record amounts of materials received or distributed, complete internal forms, documents, or reports as instructed, and verify the correctness of received material against invoices.
- Product preparation: Sort and place materials in their assigned bin locations, pull parts for production shops, and pack products accurately to conform to work orders, finishing with appropriate packaging for shipment.

The Individual
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a technical or engineering industry.
- Experience working in a multinational and multicultural environment is advantageous.
- Operating forklift experience with a valid UAE license is an added advantage.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Proficiency in Arabic is an advantage.
- Attention to Detail with strong organizational skills
- Team Player; capable of collaborating effectively with colleagues, displaying good interpersonal skills, and contributing to a positive work environment.
