**Job Summary**:
The Shisha Maker is responsible for preparing, maintaining, and serving shisha (hookah) to customers in a safe, timely, and professional manner. This role involves interacting with guests to ensure they enjoy a high-quality experience and maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of the shisha equipment. A successful Shisha Maker should be knowledgeable about different shisha flavors and techniques, be customer-oriented, and adhere to all health and safety regulations.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Shisha Preparation and Service**:
1. Prepare shisha (hookah) for customers, ensuring the proper use of tobacco, flavors, and coals.

2. Suggest shisha flavors and combinations based on customer preferences.

3. Set up and clean the shisha equipment, including bowls, hoses, and mouthpieces, before and after each use.

4. Monitor and replace coals to ensure the shisha is properly maintained during customer use.

5. Handle any customer requests or complaints regarding the shisha experience, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable service.

**Customer Service**:
1. Greet customers and assist them in choosing their preferred shisha flavors and tobacco types.

2. Provide exceptional customer service by being attentive to customers' needs and ensuring they are satisfied with their shisha experience.

3. Educate customers about different shisha flavors, tobacco options, and proper smoking techniques when required.

4. Maintain a friendly and welcoming attitude at all times, enhancing the overall guest experience.

**Shisha Equipment Maintenance**:
1. Clean and sanitize all shisha equipment after each use to maintain hygiene and safety standards.

2. Regularly inspect shisha pipes, hoses, and accessories to ensure they are in good working condition.

3. Monitor the stock of shisha tobacco, flavors, coals, and accessories, ensuring timely replenishment when needed.

4. Follow proper maintenance protocols for shisha equipment to ensure its longevity and optimal performance.

**Health and Safety Compliance**:
1. Adhere to all health and safety guidelines regarding the preparation, handling, and serving of shisha.

2. Ensure that all shisha-related activities are performed in a designated smoking area to comply with local regulations.

3. Follow fire safety protocols when handling and preparing hot coals for shisha.

4. Keep the shisha service area clean and organized to prevent accidents or hazards.

**Collaboration and Coordination**:
1. Work closely with lounge staff, waiters, and management to ensure smooth service delivery.

2. Communicate effectively with the team regarding customer preferences and special requests.

3. Assist other team members in providing additional services if needed, such as delivering beverages or snacks alongside shisha orders.

**Qualifications**:
1. High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).

2. Previous experience as a Shisha Maker or in a similar role in hospitality is preferred.

3. Knowledge of different shisha flavors, tobacco types, and preparation techniques.

4. Excellent communication and customer service skills.

5. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

6. Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to tobacco use and handling hot coals.

7. Basic understanding of fire safety when handling shisha coals.

**Working Conditions**:

- The Shisha Maker typically works in a lounge, café, or restaurant setting, often in a designated smoking area.
- The role may involve working evenings, weekends, and holidays due to the nature of the service.
- Physical demands include standing for extended periods, lifting shisha equipment, and handling hot coals.
