**Security Consultant Middle-East**
We are currently seeking a Physical Security Consultant with proven experience in developing and delivering high-end consulting and engineering services to our Clients for their Projects in the GCC Region.

**Job Purpose**

The main mission of the Consultant is to provide advice and to design solutions for securing properties, goods, and people.
He oversees all security aspects of a Project on diversified cases within the new build, and the built environment, mainly across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (AlUla, Riyadh, etc.).

In consultation with the Client, Authorities and other Project’s stakeholders, the security specialist analyses the threats and vulnerabilities, identifies and defines the countermeasures that are adapted to the context and to the extent of the site’s specific challenges and constraints (Heritage, Governmental, Hospitality, etc.). He accompanies the Client from the audit and risk analysis through to the operational implementation of the solutions for which he has established the specifications.

**Tasks and Responsibilities**

The Security Consultant typically has a wide range of responsibilities, which include:

- Leading and managing security design consulting engagements to a professional standard independently and/ or in support of other senior consultants.
- Maintaining Client and Company deliverables, ensuring they are developed with appropriate professional methodologies, standards, best practice and that the Client and Company budgets and programmes are met.

The Consultant develops and delivers mission elements within a structured framework, aligned with RIBA plan of Work, using Client and Authorities’ guidelines and requirements, as well as security industry standards. Tasks and deliverables cover site surveys, risk assessment, security strategy, concept, schematic, detailed design, and tender documentation.

The Consultant also assists the Client within the framework of security reviews when deliverables such as risk assessment, strategy and concept of design are developed by others.

**Skills and Experience**

This role is accessible to junior and senior consultants, with a thorough minimum experience of 3 to 5 years in similar positions in consulting and security design, acquired from renowned consultancy firms or security contractors.
- Experience in providing security risk assessments, consulting, and strategic design work in the Middle East.
- Bachelor’s - Master’s degree in a Security related field or Risk Management or Engineering or Design or Master

Planning or proven experience based, or recognised certification (PSP would be a plus).
- Thorough knowledge of current local and international standards, security actors, technologies and systems, and possibly specific Clients and Authorities’ security requirements (Saudi Royal Commissions, MOI, etc.).
- Depth and breadth of understanding and experience of delivering architectural, physical and technical security design consulting across all RIBA (or AIA) stages within multiple sectors within the new and built environment.
- Thorough knowledge and experience of designing security risk mitigation measures including: CPTED, HVM, fencing, security gates, perimeter intruder detection, force-entry protection measures, video surveillance, video analytics, access control, security control rooms, etc.
- Knowledge of other related disciplines such as ELV, Communications Networks, IT, etc.
- Substantial Project Management experience relating to security consulting and systems deployment.
- Proven ability to manage and deliver consulting engagements.

**Other requirements**
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
- Fluency in oral and written English (Arabic would be a plus).
- UAE or KSA based with regular onsite stays to work at Client place.
- Strong work ethic.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work either independently and with a team.
- Ability to consistently meet deadlines.
- Confident in presenting to Clients and Project stakeholders.
