To support in maximizing the company’s sales and profitability making sure that the procurement transactions are carried out efficiently and products supplied in full and on time. Supply Planner is accountable for meeting business requirements for all at lowest possible Supply Chain cost for their specific SBU’s
- Leading and coordinating supply chain planning activities for all internal and 3rd party suppliers
- Assist the Supply Planning Manager in handling daily businesses.
- Organize team activities to meet deadlines and deliver the required results
- Follow up all open and pending issues and get the right support
- Control procedure follow up from each team members
- Check supplier folders update
- Check and control all team orders before sending to suppliers
- Be part of finalization of supplier forecast setting
- Handling supplier orders according to agreed supply process
- Planning the supply consideration of efficiency and costing
- Carry out all the department’s communication and follow up.
- Follow up on the supplier’s feedback and carry out the communication as instructed by the supply planning Supervisor.
- Coordinate with the suppliers to reduce the lead-time in cases of urgent stock requirements.
- Verify pro forma invoices and confirm the orders as approved by the management
- Send alert to accounts department on confirmed orders to ensure timely payment.
- Follow up on the shipping schedule from the suppliers to monitor the order status.
- Keep track of all orders till delivery and issue the relative update reports to all concerned.
- Ensure availability of shipping documents before arrival of the goods at destination.
- Coordinate with the warehouse department to make sure that the shipment is received in full and in good quality.
- Follow up with the suppliers on all shipment discrepancies and damages and other related product complaints and put control on team members issues
- _Maintain a close update on the target achievement with suppliers and relative rebate calculations while copying accounts department._
- _Issue the minutes of meetings for the department head and suppliers._
- _Develop and maintain updated procurement records._
- _Develop and maintain a complete and updated Master File documentation for all suppliers_
- _Coordinate with the Master Data Officer for all data changes of the suppliers_
- _Provide and update all product details to the Master Data Officer._
- _Ensure proper filling of all the department transactions and communication with the suppliers._
- _Issue confirmed price change alerts to all relative branches or affiliates as instructed by department head._
- _Develop all the reports requested and issue the comparison charts vs. budget._
- _Full control and have a responsibility of dedicated Brands on Inventory level base (supply Planning part)_
