The **Account Executive** will be responsible for establishing an in-person presence in the Middle East incorporating business development and account management. This person will require solid experience in payments (preferably Fintech related) and specific knowledge of the regional payments system. The Account Executive will be responsible for identifying and executing on new business opportunities as well as for growing deep and meaningful relationships with our existing partners and vendors in the region. This role will be based in Dubai (UAE.)
**Responsibilities**:
- Manage and grow a network including the Central Bank; Sponsor Bank; Exchange Houses, card scheme and vendors
- Manage and develop relationships with existing partners from operational to executive level
- Support the existing day to day management of existing partner relationships
- Identify opportunities to drive growth and coordinate related marketing activities
- Establish and achieve business targets for existing programs
- Identify opportunities and support the acquisition of new partnership agreements to drive profitable growth.
- Help the organization understand industry trends, growth opportunities and new product development opportunities by relaying partner and end user customer (e.g. merchants) needs and buying behavior
- Remain current and knowledgeable on all OURO products and services
**Requirements**:
- Minimum of 5 years experience in payments and/or marketing
- Results driven, energetic and entrepreneurial individual placing emphasis on the customer while delivering on company goals and objectives
- Flexible, able to adapt to changing priorities
- Experience in payments products industry with focus on new account acquisition
- Ability to build relationships and quickly develop trust with key personnel and executive leadership at partner organizations
- Able to communicate product features and benefits in a compelling way that provides proof of value to partners and end user customers
