KFS is seeking experienced Marine Engineers with **Class I Certificate of Competency** to join our successful team and play a vital role in our expansion.

**Mandatory Requirement**:

- Class I National Marine Engineer COC.
- Minimum 1 year sailing experience in the rank of Chief Engineer
- Experience in Marine Surveying preferred.
- Experience in Class Surveys preferred.
- Conversant with local rules, regulations, and terminal operations.

**Job Activities**:
1. Suggest and implement good systems and engineering practices with the technical Department.

2. Responsible for the performance of special projects / dry docking as defined by the Technical Manager

3. Evaluate the performance, ability, and suitability of the vessels Engine Department

4. Conduct regular ship inspections and ensure that preparations have been made to comply with class and statutory requirements.

5. Monitor all Flag and statutory surveys with the due dates and follow up for rectification of all findings (COC & recommendations) issued prior to the expiry dates.

6. Ensure all towing, lifting and anchor handling gears are certified.

7. Act as a member of Shore Emergency team.

8. Assist Technical Manager in the investigation of Incidents and non-conformity occurred on board ships and ensure preventive actions.

9. Knowledge and experience in Vessel vetting’s, technical repairs, and consultancy, hold technical inspections, Attendance during vessel Repairs / trouble shooting.
