Architectural Supervisor

**Job Title: Architectural Supervisor**

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop a scheduled program for the commencement and completion of all Architectural works to tie in with the master schedule
- Coordinate, monitor and control Architectural sub-contractor's progress and quality of
- works
- Coordinate sub-contractor's work so that there are no conflicts amongst sub-contractors
- Delegate work to the general workers/chargehand and assign them duties
- Liaise with suppliers on the products needed for the projects and the delivery schedule
- Ensure all architectural queries and discrepancies are put up and resolved in writing via the issue of “Request For Information / Technical Query” and “Confirmation of Verbal Instructions
- Study architectural drawings/structural drawings and compare layout plan with detailing a plan to avoid mistakes and inconsistency of level, alignment, direction or standard of finishes
- Perform night duties to supervise concreting will be on a rotational basis
- Responsible for overseeing the workers in carrying out the construction works as per the approved safe work procedures/practices or safety instructions, In-house Safety Rules and Regulations, P.E design drawings, etc
- Exercise all care in handling and storage of incoming materials to prevent damage or deterioration before use
- Arrange for Architectural trade demonstrations for consultant’s approvals
- Ensure timely delivery of materials and goods to the site
- Arrange for testing of Architectural materials
- Liaise with consultants in solving technical and detailing issues of Architectural works
- Attend project coordination meetings
- Report to Project Manager the progress of Architectural works
- Assist Project Manager in the compilation of handing over documents, including As-built drawings
- Supervise, organize and plan activities to ensure the smooth fabrication and construction of structures within the stipulated schedule.
- Review technical drawings and advise engineering of any discrepancies before the commencement of fabrication works.
- Ensure that manpower is effectively deployed to deliver the products timely.
- Resolve any technical problems or issues faced at the work site
- Study and evaluate the work sequences and methods of the Department and explore new ideas to improve quality and productively
- Responsible for preparation of red line markups to Engineering for AS BUILTS submission to clients
- Liaise with client's representatives and coordinate with other department supervisors to effectively coordinate all works.
- Ensure that Safety, Health and Environmental operating procedures are followed and counsel staff about compliance as necessary
- Implement the company’s safety policy and safety management system and to enforce legislated safety requirements and the company’s safety rules and regulations at the site
