We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Dietitian with a DOH license to join our healthcare team. The Dietitian will assess, plan, and implement nutrition programs tailored to individual patient needs, supporting overall health, wellness, and disease prevention. This role involves working closely with healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive and holistic patient care.

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Nutrition Assessment and Counseling**:

- Conduct detailed nutrition assessments, including evaluating patients’ dietary habits, medical history, and nutritional needs.
- Develop personalized meal plans that meet patients’ health goals and dietary requirements, such as weight management, diabetes control, or food allergies.
- Educate patients and their families on healthy eating habits, portion control, and lifestyle changes to improve long-term health.
- **Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT)**:

- Provide evidence-based Medical Nutrition Therapy for patients with chronic health conditions, including diabetes, hypertension, cardiovascular disease, gastrointestinal disorders, and obesity.
- Adjust nutritional plans as needed based on patients’ progress, preferences, and any changes in their medical condition.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare providers to integrate nutrition therapy into overall treatment plans.
- **Patient Education and Support**:

- Conduct individual or group counseling sessions to empower patients with knowledge on nutrition and wellness.
- Support patients in setting achievable nutritional goals and provide strategies for overcoming dietary challenges.
- Provide ongoing motivation and monitor adherence to dietary recommendations, encouraging sustainable changes in eating habits.
- **Collaboration with Healthcare Team**:

- Collaborate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care and comprehensive treatment.
- Participate in case conferences, team meetings, and consultations to discuss patient progress and adapt care plans.
- Provide training and resources to healthcare staff on nutritional best practices and diet-related health interventions.
- **Compliance and Documentation**:

- Maintain accurate records of nutritional assessments, meal plans, and patient progress as required by DOH guidelines and facility policies.
- Ensure adherence to DOH and institutional policies, as well as dietary regulations and standards for safety and quality.
- Participate in professional development, staying updated on the latest nutrition research, dietetics guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
- **Public Health and Wellness Programs**:

- Develop and implement wellness and nutrition education programs for community health promotion, where applicable.
- Organize workshops, seminars, or informational sessions on topics such as heart health, diabetes prevention, and weight management.

**Qualifications**
- **Licensure**: Valid DOH License
- **Education**: Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field from an accredited institution
- **Experience**: Minimum 3 years of UAE experience with clinical nutrition or dietetics experience
- **Skills**: Strong communication, empathy, problem-solving, and organizational skills

**Key Competencies**
- In-depth knowledge of nutrition principles and medical nutrition therapy
- High attention to detail and accuracy in patient documentation
- Familiarity with dietary needs related to chronic health conditions
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach, with strong motivation skills
