**Job Description: Manager - Treasury**

**The Opportunity**:
We are seeking an experienced and qualified Treasury Manager to play a pivotal role in managing our treasury operations. You will be a key contributor to our financial strategy, ensuring effective treasury management to support our growth and innovation. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, you will oversee all aspects of treasury functions and policies for Presight.

Managerial:

- Contribute to the development and execution of treasury strategies.
- Manage budget allocation and financial performance within the treasury department.
- Ensure performance goals are met within the treasury function.

Functional:

- Participate in negotiations for banking transactions, credit terms, and documentation.
- Assist in industry research and evaluate investment opportunities.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to optimize investments and enhance creditworthiness.
- Contribute to standardizing credit proposal evaluation processes.
- Monitor credit administration, risk mitigation, and profitability optimization.
- Support in monitoring daily cash flows, bank balances, and liquidity needs.
- Contribute to the development of cash flow forecasts and borrowing projection models.
- Support the implementation of internal control frameworks to mitigate cash flow risk.
- Contribute to the development of an insurance framework covering various conditions.
- Assist in the oversight of insurance processes and agreements.
- Support business expansion by setting up international banking infrastructure, efficient lines of credit
- Develop and maintain strategic relationships with banks and financial institutions

Organizational:

- Assist in maintaining effective governance within the treasury function.
- Contribute to management reporting efforts.
- Support technology requirements for treasury operations.

**Skills and attributes for success**

Your success will be assessed on your ability to adroitly manage operating cash flows and daily cash balances as well as the accuracy of your cash forecasts and the percentage of committed credit maintained.

Qualifications:
**To qualify, you must have**
- A Bachelor's Degree in commerce, accounting, finance or related field - preferably CA, CPA, ACCA, CMA or an equivalent qualification
- A minimum 10 years of experience in a treasury management role
- In-depth understanding and knowledge of money markets, bonds, foreign exchange, and derivatives

**Ideally, you should also possess**
- Strong analytical skills with an eye for detail.
- The ability to contribute to strategic thinking and timely decision-making.
- Experience in managing budgets and financial responsibilities.
- Effective communication skills.
