**Our client, a college in UAE that specializes in higher education is looking for a faculty and internal verifier.**

**Roles and Responsibilities include**:
The overall roles and responsibility of faculty will include but not be limited to the following activities.

**Preparation**:
For the assigned module the faculty is expected to prepare the teaching material along with students study/guidance material which is required to deliver the given module effectively. The preparation materials will include and not be limited to the following head:

- Scheme of work (Day wise module delivery planner)
- Lesson planner (Guide on how each lecture needs to be planned and delivered)
- Lecture delivery Presentation/Notes (should be interactive considering online delivery as well)
- Study notes/ Handout for the learners
- Assignment brief based on the guidelines of awarding body/University
- Students guide for assignment preparation
- Assessment/marking rubrics
**Lecture Delivery**:
To ensure the module assigned is delivered in the true spirit and essence of an international qualification having a blend of vocational and academic context. The faculty has to ensure through their lecture delivery they are accommodating students of all culture & ethnicity keeping in mind their barrier to communication due difference of language. A ideal lecture delivery should include but not limit the following pointers:

- Establish an learning outcome for each session
- Deliver an interactive/engaging session
- Contextualize delivery of content wrt to current practice and trends in the relevant industry
- Include examples and case study to relevant field/ program/ qualification
- Conduct activities (quiz/role play/competition. Etc)
- Ask question to check the involvement and presence of mind during the lectures
- Recap the complete session and summarize the session
- Provide self-learning activities for leaner after lecture hours
**Tutorials**:
The faculty is expected to guide learners through a structured approach on completing their assignment and handhold the learners while they prepare the assignment in the required awarding body format. The faculty is required to devise tasks and activities that need to be conducted in a tutorial session. The faculty is expected to conduct the tutorials for the min time allocated for a given module.

**Assignment Assessment**

The faculty is expected to carry out the multiple internal and a consolidated final assessment for submission to the awarding body for the module assigned to them. The faculty could also be assigned for assessment of modules that are delivered by other faculty/visiting faculty.
- Internal Assessment - The faculty is expected to break the whole assignment into part according to Learning Outcome (LO) and encourage learners to complete the assignment work in parts and carry out assessment at LO level to ensure learners are provided sufficient feedback on their work and achieve the minimum Pass grades in all their work. The Faculties are expected to define timelines for such submission at the start of the program and complete assessment accordingly on a monthly or weekly basis.
- Consolidated Assessment - The faculty is expected to carry out consolidated assessment of the module assigned to them as per the guidelines and assessment rubrics defined by the institute and awarding body in a manner that the assessment decisions are well accepted by the awarding bodies External Verifier.
- Internal Verification: Those faculty exhibiting fine acumen of assessment could be awarded with the role of Internal verification, in which they would be expected to verify the assessment carried out by other assessors against the assessment requirements laid down in the module specification, assignment brief, assessment guidance/ rubrics. To ensure that the learners assignment is of the quality and standards as expected by the awarding body.
**Guest lectures**

The faculty are expected to engage with various industrial professionals either personally or with the help of HR team to arrange for guest lectures relevant to their modules with an objective to provide industrial insight and practices to the learners.

**Miscellaneous**
- Training & development: In order to ensure the faculty are updated with the current trends and requirements of the university/ awarding body, we shall be enrolling faculty in training and development activities/course it is expected that faculties shall successfully complete the program. Certain training or courses could also be a legal/eligibility requirement of certain countries. The faculty have to attend and participate in any or all internal quality assurance and standardization training.
- Reports and documentation: There is a series of documentation which is required to ensure the standard and quality of program delivered at its campus is in line with the requirements of the awarding body. The faculties are expected to complete the documentat
