**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Select, utilize, and calibrate appropriate surveying equipment for marine construction, hydrographic surveys, nautical charts, and maps.
- Select and manage survey boat, software and hardware for the project site.
- Provide accurate reports, manage data and answer technical queries for marine construction activities such as dredging, coastal work, pipelines and environmental monitoring.
- Collect information about the type of seabed along with the movement of water and waves, delineation of high water and low water line.
- Create contour maps and other graphical models.

**EDUCATION AND LICENSURE**
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, hydrographic surveying, marine sciences, geology, computer science, or related field of study. (required)

**SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS**
- At least 5 years of related experience overseeing coastal, marine, geotechnical, and structural engineering and construction projects; or equivalent combination of education and experience. (required)
- Ability to create design templates for dredging, theoretical breakwater, revetments, etc. (required).
- Ability to use total station, prism pole, echo sounders, multibeam, and other survey equipment related to marine surveying.
- Ability to validate data, convert data into charts, profiles, and other graphical methods using AutoCAD, Qinsy, Terramodel, Hypack, Wintopo and other modeling software. (required)
- Experience/ability to plan and supervise surveying operations. (required)
