We need to expand our team to catch up with the growth, hence the need to hire a Debt Collector immediately - a role that is critical in making sure our customers get the electricity and cooling they need.

What you’ll do:
- Researching credit history.-
- Collection and maintenance of client accounts.- Follow-up correspondence, resolution, and escalation of overdue accounts.- Accounts Receivable invoice generation and verification of client credit approval.-
- Receivable age analysis and reporting.

We’re experts, which means you’ll have the following skills and experience:
- +3 Years experience in the field.- Bachelor’s degree in accounting.- Ensure timely collections of debt, both internally and externally.- Assess and monitor credit limits and customer credit risk.- Measure incidence and ensure all queries are resolved in a timely and professional manner.- Ensures collections activity and customer data is correctly recorded and updated on the system.- Assist with bad debt management and write-off reporting.- Fluent command of English language, spoken and written.- Setting up and opening customer accounts.- Credit vetting all new customers.- Monitoring credit limits.- Ledger cleansing and review of database.- Record Queries.- Support the Credit Control department in achievement of the team targets.- Making outbound telephone calls to customers with outstanding debts.- Take messages, log queries and assisting with various ad-hoc duties when required.- Some aspects of sales ledger - allocating incoming payments and issuing customer statements.
