**Role Description**

This is a full-time on-site role for a Junior Accountant at Albait Alaalamy Glass & Aluminium located in Dubai. The Junior Accountant will be responsible for day-to-day accounting tasks, including recording financial transactions, preparing and maintaining financial records, reconciling accounts, and assisting with financial reporting. The Junior Accountant will work closely with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely financial analysis and reporting.

**Responsibilities**
- Accurately record all financial transactions, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments, in the company's accounting system.
- Perform regular reconciliations of bank statements, accounts receivable, and accounts payable to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
- Maintain records of purchases, track inventory levels, and prepare Purchase Orders (LPOs) for approval based on inventory needs and budgetary constraints.
- Establish and maintain effective communication with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods, resolve any issues or discrepancies in orders, and negotiate favorable terms and pricing.
- Assist with payroll processing tasks, including calculating employee wages, preparing payroll reports, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations and company policies.
- Monitor inventory levels, track stock movements, and conduct regular inventory counts to reconcile physical stock with recorded inventory levels. Coordinate with relevant departments to manage stock replenishment and minimize stockouts.
- Assist in preparing financial reports, such as income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, to provide management with accurate and timely financial information for decision-making purposes.
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles, standards, and regulations, as well as company policies and procedures, in all accounting and financial activities.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date documentation of all financial transactions, records, and reports to facilitate auditing and ensure transparency and accountability.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies in accounting and financial procedures, and collaborate with team members to implement enhancements.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- 3 - 4 years of accounting experience
- Familiarity in construction industry standards is preferred
- Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Experience with financial software and spreadsheets
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and analysis
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,500.00 per month

**Experience**:

- Construction: 3 years (required)
- Accounting & VAT Taxing: 3 years (required)

**Language**:

- English (preferred)
- Arabic (preferred)

License/Certification:

- Visa (preferred)
- UAE Driver's License (required)
