Childcare Worker

**Key Responsibilities**:
1. Provide attentive and compassionate care to children, ensuring their safety, well-being, and comfort at all times.

2. Engage children in age-appropriate activities and play experiences that promote physical, cognitive, social, and emotional development.

3. Supervise indoor and outdoor play, games, and recreational activities, and facilitate interactions and socialization among children.

4. Assist with planning and implementing educational and enrichment activities, including arts and crafts, music and movement, storytime, and sensory experiences.

5. Support children’s learning and development by providing guidance, encouragement, and positive reinforcement, and fostering independence and self-confidence.

6. Maintain a clean and organized childcare environment, including sanitizing toys and equipment, preparing snacks and meals, and ensuring hygiene and safety standards are met.

7. Follow daily schedules and routines for meals, naps, and activities, and transition children smoothly between activities and transitions.

**Requirements**:
1. High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in early childhood education or childcare is preferred.
2. Previous experience working with children in a childcare setting, daycare, preschool, or similar environment.
3. Knowledge of child development principles, age-appropriate activities, and best practices in early childhood education and childcare.
4. Genuine love for children and enthusiasm for providing nurturing care and support to young learners.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with children, parents, and colleagues in a positive and professional manner.
