Accountant - Uaq

We are looking to hire an Accountant available to join immediately. This role is based in Umm Al Quwain

The budget for this role is AED 3000 + Accommodation & Medical Insurance is provided

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Reconcile financial statements and ensure the accuracy of accounting records.
- Prepare and review financial reports, statements, and variance analyses.
- Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Conduct regular internal audits to ensure compliance with financial procedures and regulations.
- Collaborate with other departments to gather financial information and provide support as needed.
- Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures.
- Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and standards.
- Participate in the budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Prepare quotations, work orders and Job estimations.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a General Accountant or in a similar role.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles, regulations, and standards.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

**Salary**: AED2,999.00 - AED3,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Umm al-Quwain City: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
