**POSITION OVERVIEW**
The Academic Counselor will serve a dual role, combining academic counseling with sales responsibilities. In this position, the counselor will not only guide prospective students through their academic and career paths but will also be responsible for driving admissions through proactive sales efforts. This includes contacting leads, promoting the institution’s programs, and ultimately converting inquiries into enrolled students.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**

**Sales and Lead Management Responsibilities**:

- Proactively contact prospective students who have shown interest in the institution’s programs through various lead generation channels.
- Respond to inquiries from potential students, answering questions and providing detailed information about the institution’s academic offerings, admissions process, and student life.
- Work closely with the admissions team to track lead status, manage follow-ups, and close enrollments.
- Assist with marketing campaigns, webinars, and other events aimed at generating leads.
- Maintain a customer relationship management (CRM) system, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records of leads, communications, and conversions.
- Meet or exceed sales targets for student enrollment and lead conversion.

**Academic Counseling Responsibilities**:

- Provide personalized academic counseling to students, helping them with course selection, academic planning, and long-term career goals.
- Monitor and track students' academic performance, providing guidance for improvement where needed.
- Organize and facilitate academic workshops, orientations, and career development sessions.
- Support students in navigating their academic journeys, ensuring they meet graduation requirements and remain on track.
- Collaborate with faculty and staff to monitor and improve student performance.
- Serve as a point of contact for student concerns and provide counseling for personal, academic, and professional challenges.

**Qualifications**:

- Master’s degree in counseling, Education, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- At least 1-3 years of experience in academic counseling, student services, or admissions, with a strong focus on sales or customer relationship management.
- Proven experience in converting leads into customers, ideally within an educational or service-oriented environment.
- Knowledge of the academic programs in management and business studies.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage prospective students and their families.
- Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities.
- Proficient in using CRM tools, academic management systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work in a target-driven environment.

**Desirable Skills**:

- Experience with higher education admissions and understanding of academic program structures.
- Familiarity with sales processes, from lead generation to closing.
- Strong understanding of student development, academic counseling, and career services.
- Comfortable working with diverse populations and navigating student needs across different cultural and socio-economic backgrounds.

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,500.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
