**Job Title**: Patient Helper - Male

**Job Summary**:
A Male Patient Helper is responsible for providing support and assistance to patients in a healthcare setting, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. This role involves helping with daily activities, providing companionship, and assisting the nursing staff as needed.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Patient Assistance**:
1. Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.

2. Help patients with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure comfort and prevent complications.

**Companionship**:
1. Provide companionship and emotional support to patients.

2. Engage in conversation and recreational activities to promote a positive and comforting environment.

**Meal Assistance**:
1. Assist patients with meal preparation, feeding, and monitoring dietary needs.

2. Collaborate with the dietary team to ensure patients receive appropriate and timely meals.

**Mobility Support**:
1. Assist in ambulation and encourage patients to engage in prescribed exercises.

2. Use mobility aids and equipment safely to support patients' movement.

**Patient Monitoring**:
1. Monitor and report changes in patients' conditions to nursing staff.

2. Record vital signs and other relevant information as directed.

**Safety Measures**:
1. Ensure a safe environment for patients by identifying and addressing potential hazards.

2. Assist in fall prevention strategies and emergency response as needed.

**Communication**:
1. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.

2. Report observations and concerns to the nursing team for appropriate follow-up.

**Patient Transport**:
1. Assist in the transport of patients within the healthcare facility.

2. Accompany patients to appointments or procedures as needed.

**Documentation**:
1. Maintain accurate records of patient interactions and activities.

2. Document care provided and report any incidents or unusual occurrences.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Patient Helper or in a healthcare support role is a plus.
- Compassionate and empathetic demeanor.
- Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively in a healthcare team.
- Physical fitness for tasks that may involve lifting or assisting with patient mobility.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

**Working Conditions**:

- Patient Helpers work in healthcare facilities such as hospitals, clinics, or nursing homes.
- The role involves frequent interaction with patients and healthcare professionals.
- Work hours may include shifts, evenings, weekends, and holidays based on healthcare facility needs.

**Salary**: From AED3,000.00 per month
