**Job Title: Light Vehicle Driver**

**Job Overview**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Safely operate light vehicles such as cars, vans, or small trucks to transport passengers, goods, or materials to designated locations.
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws, regulations, and company policies to ensure safe transportation and prevent accidents or violations.
- Maintain the vehicle in clean and good working condition by conducting routine inspections and necessary maintenance checks.
- Load and unload goods or materials as required, ensuring proper handling and securing of cargo to prevent damage during transit.
- Plan and follow the most efficient routes to reach destinations on time, considering factors such as traffic conditions and road closures.
- Provide assistance to passengers as needed, including helping with boarding and alighting, handling luggage, and ensuring passenger comfort and safety.
- Keep accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance activities, reporting any issues or discrepancies to management promptly.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, supervisors, and other team members to coordinate schedules, report delays or incidents, and ensure smooth operations.
- Follow established safety protocols and emergency procedures in case of accidents, breakdowns, or other unforeseen circumstances.
- Represent the company in a professional manner at all times, maintaining a courteous and respectful attitude towards customers, colleagues, and the public.

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license for light vehicles (Category B) with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience as a light vehicle driver, preferably in a commercial or transportation setting.
- Good knowledge of local roads, traffic patterns, and routes.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions precisely.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision.
- Physical stamina and strength to load and unload cargo as needed.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required.
- Willingness to undergo background checks and drug screenings as part of the hiring process.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Defensive driving certification or training.
- Prior experience in customer service or passenger transportation.
- Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and route optimization software.
