_**Scope**:_
- **Duties & Responsibilities**:_
- Develop and implement training programs for a diverse range of birds, including tropical birds, raptors, and water birds.
- Conduct regular training sessions to ensure the birds' physical and mental stimulation.
- Maintain detailed records of training progress and behavioral observations.
- Collaborate with veterinary staff to monitor and maintain the health and well-being of the birds.
- Mentor and provide training to junior trainers and other team members.
- Assist in the training and enrichment of other animals within the department.
- Participate in public education programs, demonstrations, and interactive sessions with visitors.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant animal welfare and safety regulations.
- **Qualifications/Experience**:_
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in training a variety of bird species, including tropical birds, raptors, and water birds.
- Proven ability to develop and execute successful training programs.
- Strong understanding of avian behavior, nutrition, and health.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and evenings as needed.
