1. Daily check of health & safety at the Centre.

2. Take charge of the Medical Care of students attending afternoon sessions and their files.

3. To provide supplemental assistance to the class teacher in the designated class when needed.

4. Ensures that the Future Rehabilitation Centre policies and procedures for basic health care and attention are aligned with the standards set by the Health of Authority of Abu Dhabi across the Centre, e.g. clinic procedures, waste management, hygiene practices and disease control to promote more effective services to all the students and other clients of the Clinic.

5. Check/ Monitor the updates from DOH every month and report to the Asst. Director for Clinic Operations accordingly.

6. Manages the medical files and records of each of the students in an orderly fashion such that immediate retrieval by authorities can be done at any time.

7. Administers oral and topical medication to students who have provided authorization.

8. Provides prompt basic medical assessment and treatment to students who are sick and takes action to ensure the student's follow-up treatment is given by more appropriate health personnel such as physician or parents.

9. Provides immediate attention and treatment to students and staff for minor injuries, especially the ones that occurred within the premises of the Centre.

10. Ensure that DOH regulations on preventive medicine is carried out across the Centre by conducting school-wide campaigns for the prevention of viral diseases and infections.

11. Conducts periodic check-ups of students’ weight and height.

12. Administers efficient and effective procedures, including communication with ambulances or parents, for the physical transfer of staff members and students to medical facilities for further treatment.

13. Provides useful information to staff members about health safety and health hazards.

14. Responsible for effectively managing the Clinic and all its inventories.

15. Daily checking of student buses during arrival in the morning and departure in the afternoon. Coordinate with the HR and security guard.

16. Report to the Assistant Director

**Requirements**:
Ø **Holding Bachelor of Science in Nursing,** MSc is a plus

Ø DOH or HAAD Nursing License

Ø With an Equivalency Certificate or Certificate of recognition of degree from MOE UAE

Ø Minimum of 2 years of work experience in a similar organisational setting

Ø Experience dealing with children with a wide range of disabilities.

Ø A patient, resourceful, and resilient personality

Ø Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
