Mathematics Teacher

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Plan, prepare, and deliver instructional activities that facilitate active learning experiences in Mathematics.
- Develop lesson plans and instructional materials, and provide individualized and small group instruction to adapt the curriculum to the needs of each student.
- Implement the school’s curriculum in accordance with guidelines and standards.
- Use a variety of teaching strategies to engage students in critical thinking and problem-solving in Mathematics.
- Assess and record students’ progress, provide feedback, and communicate with parents and school counselors on student progress.
- Participate in department, school, and parent meetings.
- Stay updated on current educational research and best practices in mathematics education.
- Foster a classroom environment that is conducive to learning, safe, and encourages respect amongst students.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and teacher training programs.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) degree with a specialization in Mathematics.
- A minimum of 2 years teaching experience in Mathematics.
- Strong knowledge of the curriculum and pedagogy of Mathematics.
- Ability to use technology and educational software to enhance teaching and learning.
- Valid teaching certification/license for the UAE or the ability to obtain one.
