**Job Title**: General Practitioner (GP) - Inpatient Department (IP)
**Location**: Dubai, UAE
**Preferred Language**: Arabic

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide high-quality medical care to inpatients, including diagnosing and treating illnesses, injuries, and chronic conditions.
- Conduct thorough physical exams, assess patient histories, and order necessary diagnostic tests.
- Prescribe medications, therapies, and other treatments as appropriate for the patient's condition.
- Collaborate with specialists and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
- Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans as necessary, and provide ongoing care throughout hospitalization.
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families, ensuring they understand their condition, treatment options, and recovery plan.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring compliance with hospital policies and medical regulations.
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to discussions on improving patient care and hospital practices.
- Ensure adherence to infection control standards and other hospital safety protocols.
- Educate patients on preventive healthcare, wellness, and lifestyle changes.
- Respond to medical emergencies and provide timely interventions.

**Qualifications & Requirements**:

- Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent).
- Valid DHA license (or eligibility to obtain one) as a General Practitioner.
- Minimum of 3-4 years of clinical experience as a GP, preferably in an inpatient setting.
- Strong clinical knowledge and diagnostic skills.
- Proficiency in Arabic and English (both written and spoken) is required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on patient-centered care.
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team and manage a diverse patient load.
- Compassionate, detail-oriented, and committed to providing high standards of medical care.
- Knowledge of UAE healthcare regulations and protocols.
