A Sports & Activities Supervisor is responsible in supervising the sports & activities, camps, fitness classes and programs. Follows and enforces the rules and policies of the Waldorf Astoria Ras Al Khaimah Health Spa. Instructs, leads, and coaches activities as assigned by the Director of Spa.

**What will I be doing?**

A Sports & Activities Supervisor is responsible in supervising the sports & activities, games, camps, fitness classes and programs. Follows and enforces the rules and policies of the Waldorf Astoria Ras Al Khaimah Health Spa. Instructs, leads, and coaches activities as assigned by the Director of Spa. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

- Directs and supervises sports, fitness, and leisure activities. Must be able to interact with youth and adult participants
- Sets up equipment for games and practices.
- Ensure all activities are running smoothly
- Organize and implement fitness and wellness programs for participants of all ages.
- Participate in assessment of community health and fitness needs.
- Research programs, funding sources and program requirements to ensure that a variety of classes, trips, seminars, and programs are planned and implemented.
- Administer fitness and wellness programs to ensure that programs are delivered within budget.
- Locate and coordinate instructors, schedule facility use, and coordinate maintenance of facilities after use
- Maintain inventory of all equipment; ensure equipment is maintained for current and future programs
- Evaluate the effectiveness of programs and classes and identify areas where new programs are needed
- Develop fitness programs in coordination with the personal trainer
- Provide customer service to all guests and members
- Working and cooperating with vendors, suppliers and partner
- Instruct, teach and conduct sports classes as assigned
- Assist with registration and leisure desk help
- Responds to all member and community inquiries and concerns in timely manner
- Clean and maintain gymnasium as necessary and report all issues to Director of Spa
- Attend Spa & Leisure staff meetings as scheduled

- Knowledgeable in multiple sports with the ability to teach most of them
- Working knowledge, without assistance, of Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel computer programs

It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

- Degree in relevant area
- Minimum of two years related experience in a 5-star or luxury hotel
- Passion for customer service
- Relevant fitness and pool qualifications
