Job Responsibilities:

- Pastry/Bakery Chef Specializing in Puffs, Croissants and bread:
Recipe Development: Create and develop unique recipes for various types of puffs and croissants, ensuring high-quality standards and consistent taste.

Production Planning: Plan and organize the production schedule for puffs and croissants, considering demand, inventory, and freshness requirements.

Dough Preparation: Prepare and handle dough for puffs and croissants, including mixing ingredients, kneading, shaping, and proofing.

Baking and Presentation: Oversee the baking process, ensuring proper temperature, timing, and presentation of puffs and croissants, achieving an appealing golden crust and flaky texture.

Quality Control: Implement quality control measures to ensure that each batch of puffs and croissants meets the desired standards in terms of taste, texture, appearance, and consistency.

Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels of ingredients specific to puffs and croissants, ensuring their availability and freshness for daily production.

Team Supervision: Lead and manage a team of bakery staff, including bakers and assistants, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure smooth operations and efficient output.

Menu Development: Collaborate with the bakery manager or owner to create new menu items incorporating puffs and croissants, suggesting innovative flavor combinations and variations.

Cost Management: Optimize ingredient usage and minimize waste to control costs while maintaining high-quality standards for puffs and croissants.

Continuous Learning: Stay updated with current baking trends, techniques, and innovations related to puffs and croissants, attending workshops, seminars, and industry events as needed.

Collaboration: Collaborate with other kitchen staff, such as pastry chefs, to ensure coordination and support in meeting overall bakery production goals.

Problem Solving: Identify and resolve any issues or challenges that arise during the production process, troubleshoot equipment problems, and implement solutions to maintain productivity.
