As part of our strategy to continue to grow and provide our services internationally, an opportunity has arisen for a talented and ambitious Psychology Teacher to join our school, with the ability to teach up to and including Key Stage 5. You will be joining our new APAC team of teachers.

Our teachers work from home to deliver live lessons via our online classrooms where students are encouraged to participate and join in with activities and if you are interested in joining us to improve the lives of our students, we would love to hear from you

**About the role**

Job Title - Psychology Leader of Learning

Location - Based in Dubai/UAE - working remotely from home but can include a hybrid model when requested at times throughout the year.

Full time and Part time considered.

Start Date - You must be available to start your induction on **22nd August 2023**

**Working Hours**
- Up to 37.5 hours per week
- Live Teaching time from Monday to Friday
- The working day for our Leaders of Learning’s on the APAC timetable is to start at 5.10am GST and finish at 1.30pm GST. On some days it may be later according to timetables.
- 35 weeks term time and a further 4 weeks directed time per year.

- Be up to date on current research and emerging pedagogy and disseminate this to staff through active engagement in professional development with the learning community
- Support the self-evaluation of the school’s effectiveness and the development of priorities for improvement
- Assist in maintaining and developing a high-quality school environment and profile and act as a role model by their professional conduct and disposition
- Promote the general progress and well-being of individual students and any class or group of students
- Provide guidance and advice to students on educational matters
- Provide or contribute to assessments, reports and references relating to students in a timely manner
- Participate in meetings and staff CPD opportunities
- Be committed to our Co-curricular offer.
- Undertake any other work as specified by their line manager

**Qualifications and Education Requirements**

**Skills and attributes - Essential**
- Excellent written and communication skills
- Knowledge of the correct Safeguarding procedure
- Knowledge of the education sector in a teaching profession or above
- Ability to work well in teams
- Change and business improvement-focused
- Able to work effectively in dynamic and changing environments
- Experience of working in the primary, secondary or college sector
- Experience of working in state or independent school sector
- Experience with creating resources and the ability to review and enhance our current course delivery
