**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Design & Drafting**:

- Create accurate and detailed technical drawings and layouts for cable tray systems, including cable trays, cable ladders, and accessories (elbows, tees, etc.).
- Produce CAD (Computer-Aided Design) drawings using industry-standard software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit, etc.).
- Prepare layout plans for cable trays, based on project specifications, taking into consideration load capacities, material specifications, and client requirements.

**Coordination with Engineering Team**:

- Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure designs are technically sound and meet safety standards.
- Review project specifications and translate them into actionable designs, incorporating feedback and revisions from the engineering team.
- Coordinate with the production team to ensure the manufacturability of the designs.

**Regulatory Compliance**:

- Ensure all cable tray designs comply with relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations (e.g., UL, IEC, BS, NFPA).
- Prepare and submit drawings that comply with local building codes and fire safety regulations.

**Customization & Client Requirements**:

- Work with clients to understand their specific needs and customize designs accordingly, including modifications to standard cable tray systems or bespoke solutions.
- Provide support for clients in selecting the correct cable tray sizes, materials, and configurations based on their project requirements.

**Documentation & Reporting**:

- Maintain organized records of all design drawings, revisions, and project-related documents.
- Prepare bill of materials (BOM) based on design specifications and ensure proper documentation for manufacturing.
- Assist with the creation of technical manuals, installation guides, and other supporting documentation.

**Project Support & Quality Control**:

- Provide design support during the installation phase to ensure cable tray systems are built as per specifications.
- Conduct design reviews and revisions to ensure quality and accuracy in the final output.
- Ensure that designs are completed within the project’s timeline and budget.

**Qualifications & Skills**:Education**:

- **Minimum**: A Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- **Preferred**: Certification in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit) or equivalent technical design qualification.

**Experience**:

- At least **2-3 years** of experience as a Draughtsman, preferably in the cable tray or electrical infrastructure industries.
- Strong understanding of **cable tray systems**, including design, materials (e.g., steel, aluminum, PVC), and installation practices.
- Experience working with **CAD software** (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar) to create detailed drawings and 3D models.
- Familiarity with **industry standards** and regulatory codes for cable trays and electrical infrastructure (e.g., IEC, UL, NFPA, BS).

**Skills**:

- Proficient in **2D and 3D drafting** and modeling.
- Strong attention to **detail** and accuracy in technical drawings.
- Good understanding of **engineering principles** and the ability to interpret technical specifications.
- Knowledge of **cable management solutions**, including different tray configurations (ladder trays, perforated trays, solid-bottom trays).
- Ability to create and manage **Bill of Materials (BOM)** and understand material properties.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with engineers, project managers, and clients.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.

**Physical Requirements**:

- Ability to sit for long periods and work with computer systems.
- Ability to occasionally visit project sites for design verification or installation assistance (may require light physical activity).

**Working Conditions**:

- Factory Office-based with occasional visits to construction or installation sites.
- Standard office hours with potential for overtime depending on project deadlines.

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,500.00 per month
