- Position Summary- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Network Engineering or a related field.
- Relevant industry certifications are highly desirable (e.g., CISCO CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+)
- Requirements
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and a demonstrated competency to engage and inspire students, as well as interact with people at all levels of an organization
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team in a multi-cultural environment
- The ability to cope with pressure in a positive manner while working to deadlines within a busy and demanding environment
- A demonstrated willingness to engage in professional development activities in order to improve current skills and acquire new skills, and to adapt to the evolving needs of the organization
- Previous teaching or instructional experience in a lab setting is advantageous.
- Provide personalized support during lab sessions, ensuring students grasp networking theories and can troubleshoot network configurations.
- Evaluate students’ lab work, including network setup and troubleshooting exercises, offer constructive feedback, and monitor progress.
- Ensure all networking hardware and software are current and operational.
- Provide one-on-one assistance to students during lab sessions, offering guidance and feedback to facilitate learning.
- Continuously learn about new networking technologies, protocols, and industry best practices.
- Work with colleagues to ensure lab activities complement theoretical lectures and course goals.
