Job Summary:
Key Responsibilities:

- Assist the Head Chef in creating menus and preparing meals in accordance with established recipes and standards.
- Supervise and train junior kitchen staff, ensuring that they follow all recipes, techniques, and hygiene standards.
- Monitor food production to ensure consistency in quality, taste, and presentation.
- Maintain high levels of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen, ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations.
- Order and receive food supplies, ensuring that inventory is managed effectively and that wastage is minimized.
- Assist with menu planning, cost control, and budgeting.
- Attend meetings and training sessions as required.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the Head Chef.

**Requirements**:

- Diploma or Degree in Culinary Arts or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a hotel or resort setting.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary trends.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Good organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Knowledge of HACCP and food safety regulations.
