Hostess/receptionist

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

- The Hostess is generally the one in charge of welcoming and greeting guests as they walk into the shop/facility.
- Responsible for creating a welcoming and friendly atmosphere for guests. The primary role of a hostess is to ensure that guests have a positive and enjoyable experience.
- Hostesses are responsible for keeping track of orders, ensuring that tables are available at the scheduled times, and organizing seating arrangements efficiently to maximize capacity.
- Hostesses may be asked various questions by guests, such as information about the menu, specials, or the venue itself. They should have a good understanding of the establishment's offerings to provide accurate and helpful answers.
- Handling Guest Concerns: In the event of guest complaints or concerns, hostesses should remain composed and work with their team to address the issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Providing a Positive Experience: Above all, the goal of a hostess is to create a positive and memorable experience for guests. This involves being friendly, attentive, and accommodating to guest needs.
- Assisting with Events: In venues that host events, the hostess might help with event coordination, such as welcoming and directing attendees, managing guest lists, and ensuring that everything runs smoothly.
- Ensure that lobby area is tidy and presentable especially Reception area.
- Ensure and coordinate any maintenance related to the shop and/or establishment.
- Address complaints and go the extra mile to make sure our guests are satisfied; handles guest complaints and escalate to manager if needed
- Escort customers to assigned dining areas. Provide menus and announce the Waiter/Waitress’s name.
- Relay and coordinate to the staff if there is any orders or queries.
- With previous work experience as a Hostess and with understanding of restaurant/cafe etiquette.
- Demonstrable customer-service skills
- Excellent communication skills (via phone and in-person)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to monitor the entire dining area
- Good physical condition to walk and stand during an entire shift

Note: Have a pleasing/attracting look and personality with a positive attitude. Can join immediately. Salary offer start AED2,500 to AED3,000.

**Salary**: AED2,500.00 - AED3,000.00 per month

- Abu Dhabi: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Hostess/Receptionist: 2 years (preferred)
