**Job Title: MEP Draftsman for Residential Villas in UAE**

**Job Overview**:
The MEP Draftsman for Residential Villas in the UAE plays a vital role in creating accurate and detailed drawings for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems within residential villa projects. This position involves working closely with engineering teams to produce drawings that adhere to local regulations, standards, and project specifications.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Drafting and Design**:

- Produce precise MEP drawings, including plans, elevations, sections, and details, using CAD/BIM software such as AutoCAD and Revit.
- Incorporate MEP systems seamlessly into architectural and structural drawings while adhering to UAE building codes and regulations.
- Ensure that MEP drawings reflect the design intent and specifications provided by engineers and consultants.
- **Coordination and Collaboration**:

- Collaborate with MEP engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to resolve design conflicts and coordination issues.
- Attend coordination meetings to discuss MEP requirements and ensure alignment with villa design and construction schedules.
- Communicate effectively with project team members to clarify design intent and address any discrepancies or changes.
- **Material Take-offs and Documentation**:

- Assist in generating material take-offs and quantities for MEP systems based on project requirements and specifications.
- Maintain organized documentation of MEP drawings, revisions, and related project correspondence in compliance with project management protocols.
- Support in preparing documentation required for permit approvals and inspections by local authorities in the UAE.
- **Quality Control and Compliance**:

- Review MEP drawings for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with UAE regulatory requirements and standards.
- Conduct quality checks and inspections to ensure that MEP installations meet project specifications and industry best practices.
- Stay updated on relevant codes, regulations, and standards related to MEP systems in the UAE and incorporate them into drawings as necessary.
- **As-Built Drawings and Handover**:

- Assist in the preparation of as-built drawings documenting actual MEP installations and deviations from original designs upon project completion.
- Contribute to the compilation of operation and maintenance manuals for MEP systems to facilitate handover to villa owners or facility management teams.
- Collaborate with project stakeholders to ensure smooth transition from construction phase to occupancy and operation.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Drafting, or a related field.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or other CAD/BIM software for MEP drafting.
- Previous experience in MEP drafting, preferably in residential construction projects in the UAE.
- Strong understanding of UAE building codes, regulations, and standards pertaining to MEP systems.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce accurate drawings within specified deadlines.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Familiarity with local suppliers, materials, and construction practices in the UAE is advantageous.

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
