At Hilton Dubai Palm Jumeirah, an Executive Chef will build a reputation for the hotel by maintaining a talented and creative kitchen brigade, offering an innovation menu, and promising an exceptional culinary experience.
**What will I be doing?**
At Hilton Dubai Palm Jumeirah, as Executive Chef, you are fully responsible for developing the reputation of the hotel through the production of excellent quality food throughout the hotel, and the development of a high-quality kitchen brigade. An Executive Chef will oversee the operational management of the kitchen and Team Members. Specifically, an Executive Chef will perform the following tasks to the highest standards:
- In charge of culinary and food production operations
- Responsible for food revenue, hygiene, and food cost management
- Train team members to bring the culinary experience to the next level
**What are we looking for?**
An Executive Chef serving Hilton brands is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow:
- Middle East Experience: Must have successful experience in the Middle East, including several large F&D operations.
- Leadership: Proven track record of excellent leadership skills in the workplace. Capable of handling and leading a big, diverse team with flexibility and managing various venue concepts.
- International Franchise Brands: Ability to deal with international franchise brands.
- 5-Star Hotel Experience: Experience working within 5-star hotels in different countries and cultures is essential.
- Multi-country Experience: Previous experience as an Executive Chef overseeing several large F&D outlets in multiple countries, including the Middle East.
- Commitment to Diversity & Inclusion: Leadership with a commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive work environment.
- Stable Career: A proven track record of stability and loyalty in previous organizations is a must.
It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
- Food Production Operations: Oversee all aspects of food production, ensuring high standards of quality and efficiency.
- Food Revenue Management: Develop and implement strategies to maximize food revenue.
- Hygiene Standards: Ensure compliance with all hygiene and safety standards.
- Cost Management: Effectively manage food costs while maintaining quality.
- Team Management: Lead and inspire a diverse culinary team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Venue Concept Management: Manage and innovate various venue concepts to enhance guest experiences.
- Brand Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with international franchise brands to ensure brand standards are met.
