Clinical Responsibilities
1. **Patient Consultations**:
- Conduct thorough medical histories and physical examinations.
- Address concerns related to menstruation, menopause, fertility, and pregnancy.
2. **Diagnosing Conditions**:
- Identify and manage reproductive system disorders such as polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), endometriosis, fibroids, and infections.
- Perform diagnostic tests like Pap smears, ultrasounds, and blood tests.
3. **Surgical Interventions**:
- Perform gynecological surgeries, including hysterectomies, laparoscopies, and procedures for removing ovarian cysts.
- Conduct mínimally invasive surgeries when applicable.
4. **Pregnancy and Childbirth Care**:
- Monitor high-risk pregnancies and manage complications.
- Assist in labor and delivery, including performing cesarean sections if necessary.
5. **Fertility Treatments**:
- Provide counseling and treatment options for infertility, such as in-vitro fertilization (IVF) or hormone therapy.
6. **Preventative Care**:
- Promote regular screenings for cancers of the reproductive system (e.g., cervical, ovarian).
- Educate patients on contraception and sexual health.
## Administrative Responsibilities
1. **Record Keeping**:
- Maintain detailed and confidential patient records.
- Document diagnoses, treatments, and follow-up care plans.
2. **Team Collaboration**:
- Work closely with obstetricians, anesthesiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings to discuss complex cases.
3. **Education and Training**:
- Educate patients about reproductive health.
- Mentor junior doctors, medical students, and other healthcare staff.
4. **Compliance and Safety**:
- Ensure adherence to hospital policies, ethical standards, and legal requirements.
- Maintain infection control and patient safety protocols.
## Other Responsibilities
1. **Emergency Care**:
- Respond to obstetric or gynecological emergencies, such as ectopic pregnancies or hemorrhages.
- Be on-call for urgent situations.
2. **Research and Continuous Learning**:
- Stay updated on advancements in gynecology through research and continuing education.
- Contribute to clinical studies or research projects.
3. **Community Engagement**:
- Participate in outreach programs to raise awareness about women's health issues.
Pay: AED25,000.00 - AED30,000.00 per month
