**JOB SUMMARY & RESPONSIBILITIES**:
HIA Healthcare is hiring a Pediatric Occupational Therapist within our Community Health Division (Center-Based and In-Home Services).
- Ability to establish and maintain an effective working relationship with patients, families, co-workers, and other organizations
- Knowledge and experience with ABA required
- Provide compassionate therapeutic services to children affected by Autism Spectrum Disorder
- Completing one on one direct therapy to children, 2 to 13 years of age.
- Performing initial evaluation, including standardized testing.
- Completing written documentation including evaluations, progress reports, and discharges.
- Conducting individualized treatment sessions and, to a lesser extent, group treatment sessions with clients using a strong foundation in cognitive development, family-centered therapy, and the floor time model.
- Documentation of treatment sessions with supporting clinical notes.
- Communication with parents regarding therapy carryover at home following treatment sessions.
- Communication with teachers and other involved professionals as necessary to facilitate the therapy process in the home and school environments.

**WHAT YOU NEED**:

- Current license in Occupational Therapy by the Abu Dhabi Department of Health
- Certification from National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy
- Master’s degree or higher in occupational therapy from an AOTA accredited institution
- Experience in pediatric and/or school occupational therapy.
- Experience in preschool age evaluation, assessment, and intervention.
- Excellent oral and written communication including report writing and family interview skills.
- Knowledge and experience with Special Education due process and ECSE/Part C requirements
- Ability to work with diverse populations
- Excellent organization skills and ability to prioritize workload
