**Position Summary**:
TikTok is seeking an experienced Tax Analyst in Dubai who will become an integral part of our global Tax Department. In this role, you will be responsible for tax matters in the Middle East and Africa Region, including but not limited to corporate income tax compliance, indirect tax compliance, tax planning, tax risk assessment etc. The Tax Analyst will face countless challenges and will have plenty of learning and growth opportunities in the region.

**Team Introduction**:
The METAP Tax team is building to work with other corporate functions on tax advisory, planning, structuring, and tax controversy. We ensure compliance with direct (corporate income tax) and indirect tax and solve tax-related issues.

**Responsibilities**:

- Skillfully prepare local tax compliance filings, including VAT, Corporate Income Tax, and withholding tax, ensuring accuracy and adherence to regulations.
- Employ advanced tax data reconciliation and validation techniques, reviewing VAT General Ledger accounts to ensure alignment with tax returns.
- Expertly identify potential tax compliance issues and red flags, presenting practical solutions and recommendations.
- Stay ahead of the curve by monitoring and analyzing new tax legislation, regulations, and judicial decisions, assessing their impact on company operations and finances.
- Collaborate with the tax team to conduct comprehensive tax compliance checks on business units, proactively identifying and addressing document compliance exceptions.
- Provide adept tax advice and on-demand support for various service lines, business projects, and products in the region.

**Qualifications**:

- Progressive tax experience in the Middle East and Africa region within Big4 or large MNC settings.
- Demonstrated expertise in tax compliance procedures.
- Preferably, experience within the TMT/technology industry, highlighting adaptability to diverse sectors.
- Proven ability to independently conduct international tax analysis and derive insightful conclusions.
- Thrives in fast-paced, dynamic environments, showcasing adaptability and quick problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail, contributing to precise and accurate tax compliance.
- Strong team player with integrity and a commitment to continuous learning.
- Excellent written and spoken professional English skills.
