Position Overview: As a Furniture Fitter, your role is to install, assemble, and fit various types of furniture in residential, commercial, or industrial settings. You will work with a range of furniture pieces, including cabinets, shelves, desks, tables, and other fixtures, ensuring accurate installation, functionality, and visual appeal. Your attention to detail and craftsmanship will contribute to the overall satisfaction of clients and the successful completion of projects.

Key Responsibilities:
Review furniture installation plans, blueprints, or design specifications to understand the requirements and scope of work.

Safely transport and handle furniture components to the installation site, ensuring they are protected from damage during transportation.

Prepare the installation area by measuring and marking the appropriate locations for the furniture, considering factors such as dimensions, alignment, and functionality.

Use hand tools, power tools, and equipment to assemble and install furniture components, following provided instructions or industry best practices.

Ensure proper alignment, stability, and secure attachment of furniture pieces to walls, floors, or other surfaces, utilizing appropriate hardware and fasteners.

Install and adjust hardware components such as hinges, handles, locks, and drawer slides, ensuring proper functionality and alignment.

Install additional features or accessories, such as lighting fixtures, cable management systems, or adjustable shelves, as specified in the design or client requirements.

Inspect the installed furniture for quality, fit, and functionality, making any necessary adjustments or repairs.

Collaborate with clients, designers, or project teams to address any modifications, customization requests, or changes during the installation process.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the installation area, ensuring proper disposal of packaging materials and debris.

Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines throughout the installation process, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe handling of tools and equipment.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Furniture Fitter or similar role, preferably in the furniture manufacturing or installation industry.
- Strong knowledge of furniture components, assembly techniques, and installation methods.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and equipment relevant to furniture installation.
- Ability to read and interpret furniture assembly instructions, blueprints, or design specifications.
- Detail-oriented mindset and the ability to work with precision to ensure accurate and high-quality installations.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues during the installation process.
- Good physical stamina and the ability to handle and maneuver heavy furniture components.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with clients, designers, and other team members.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and deadlines.
- Commitment to safety protocols and practices in the installation environment.
- Valid driver's license and the ability to travel to different installation sites, as required.
- Relevant vocational or technical training in carpentry, furniture making, or a related field is preferred.

**Salary**: AED1,200.00 - AED2,000.00 per month
