**Job Title**: Offshore Electrician
**Reporting To**: Workshop Manager
**Job** **Description** Install / Maintain the working order of all electrical appliances and systems during the manufacture of new builds and in the existing rental fleet by installing, troubleshooting, repairing and conducting tests. Ensure all inspections are in line with national safety standards electrical codes and that all work carried out is in compliance with relevant Health and Safety guidelines.
**Key Responsibilities** The role will involve looking after the rental fleet assets in terms of electrical items / ordering and managing electrical spares / carrying out electrical testing on units at testing / carry out yearly electrical checks / fault finding electrical problems. ∙Electrical install / maintenance and troubleshooting of new builds ∙Maintaining electrical Rental Fleet assets / assets containing electrical systems. ∙Working Offshore. ∙Order and manage electrical spares ∙Carry out electrical testing on all Rental Fleet units, newly manufactured units and plant and equipment ∙Carry out yearly electrical checks ∙Fault finding electrical issues/problems ∙Keep electrical areas organised and clean. ∙Develop strong working relations with key stake-holders - clients, colleagues etc. ∙
**Key HSEQ Responsibilities and Accountabilities** ∙Immediately report all accidents, incidents or near misses to their Manager ∙Participate in proactive HSEQ systems in place such as ICE Card and STAR Cards ∙Maintain and operate equipment in a manner that minimises leaks, spills, emissions, noise and other hazards where applicable; ∙Practice good housekeeping ∙Minimise and segregate waste wherever possible ∙Familiarise themselves with the Emergency Procedures for their working area and to know the locations of emergency equipment and how to properly use it where applicable; ∙Not interfere with or misuse anything provided in the interests of health, safety and welfare. ∙Stop the Job if they have any concerns and to immediately communicate their concerns to their Manager ∙Responsible for their own work and the verification of the quality of their work ∙Assist the company in its efforts towards continual improvement ∙Maintain positive communication with peers and customers
**Essential** ∙Qualified electrician with experience in 3 phase power systems ∙Well organised individual with good attention to detail. ∙Experience with working with PLC Systems ∙High level of accuracy. ∙Computer literate. ∙Good communication skills. ∙Holds BOSIET / FOET & OGUK Medical
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: AED5,500.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
