Kreol Group is a group of consumer goods distribution companies each specialized in a specific channel (modern trade, travel retail & e-commerce). The group represents and supplies both it's in-house brands as well as represented brands. Kreol Group is headquartered in Dubai Investments Park 2, where you will be reporting to for this role.

**About the job**:
As a Data Analyst, you will be custodian of master data and data generating processes, and will be expected to run reports and come up with meaningful, actionable insights based on that data. While you'll deal with a variety of data sources and have to make sense of a lot of different kinds of reports from different departments, most of your focus will revolve around sales analysis, both primary and secondary sell-out shared by customers.

**What you'll do**:

- **Master Data Custodianship**: Ensure all relevant master data fields are maintained properly in our ERP, Odoo.
- **Data Validation**: Validating data for any hygiene issues and teaching best practices to other users
- **Analytics and Reporting**: Developing custom reports and dashboards within Odoo or using external analytics tools by connecting them to the Odoo database. They would create visualizations to depict key business metrics, track performance indicators, and highlight trends and anomalies.
- **Sales and Revenue Analysis**: Analyzing sales data to identify trends, forecast future sales, and understand customer purchasing patterns. This can help the company in optimizing pricing strategies, improving product placement, and tailoring marketing campaigns. Your sources for sales data will be two:

- _Primary Sales:_ Our immediate sales to retailers that's taken directly from our ERP
- _Secondary Sales: _Retailer's sell-out data of our supplied products
- **Inventory Management**: Utilizing data to optimize inventory levels, ensuring that the company can meet demand without overstocking or understocking. This includes analyzing inventory turnover rates, predicting stock needs, and identifying opportunities for reducing inventory holding costs.
- **Operational Efficiency**: Analyzing operational data to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, or areas for improvement. This could involve scrutinizing logistics and distribution processes, evaluating supplier performance, or assessing the efficiency of the production lines.
- **Customer Insights**: Leveraging the sales data in Odoo to gain insights into customer behavior, preferences, and satisfaction. This information can be used to enhance customer relationships, improve service levels, and drive customer retention strategies.
- **Market Research Analysis**:Making sense of market research industry reports as well as competitor public data to come up with suggestions and insights.
- **Financial Analysis**: Working with the accounting and finance modules to monitor financial health, analyze cash flows, assess profitability, and ensure that the company is on track to meet its financial objectives.
- **Predictive Modeling**: Employing statistical methods and predictive models to forecast future trends based on historical data. This might involve predicting sales volumes, market demand, or financial performance to aid in strategic planning.
- **Process Automation**: Identifying opportunities for automating reports, alerts, or data analysis tasks within Odoo as well as outside of our ERP in programs like Excel. Automation can save time, reduce errors, and ensure that stakeholders receive timely insights.
- **Cross-functional Collaboration**: Collaborating with different departments to ensure that the data insights are actionable and aligned with business goals. This may involve working closely with the IT team to enhance the Odoo setup, the marketing team to refine targeting strategies, or the supply chain management team to optimize logistics.
- **Continuous Improvement**: Regularly reviewing and updating the analytics methodologies, data models, and reporting tools to reflect changes in the business environment, operational adjustments, or shifts in strategic direction.

**Who you should be**:

- A degree holder in MIS, data science, analytics or a related field
- Proven work experience in a BI role at a consumer goods/FMCG company
- An expert at Excel and working with large spreadsheets
- Experienced with Odoo as an ERP.
- Proficiency in other data analysis and business intelligence tools like Power BI.
