Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Light Distillate Trading: Actively engage in the trading of light distillate products, including gasoline, naphtha, and other refined oil products. Analyze market trends, negotiate contracts, and execute trades to achieve trading objectives.
- Market Analysis: Stay informed about global and regional market dynamics, pricing trends, and regulatory changes affecting the light distillate industry. Use insights for strategic decision-making and market positioning.
- Supplier and Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and clients in the light distillate market. Identify new business opportunities, negotiate contracts, and ensure client satisfaction.
- Risk Management: Develop and implement effective risk management strategies to mitigate market exposure and ensure profitability in a competitive trading environment.
- Contract Negotiation: Skilfully negotiate and execute contracts for the purchase and sale of light distillate products. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
- Market Intelligence: Provide regular updates on market conditions, competitor activities, and industry trends. Analyze data to identify potential risks and opportunities.
- Documentation: Ensure accurate and timely completion of all trading-related documentation, including contracts, trade confirmations, and compliance records.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Light Distillate Trader in the UAE or a similar market.
- In-depth knowledge of international light distillate markets, including pricing mechanisms, industry regulations, and trading practices.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic trading environment.
- Proficiency in relevant trading software and tools.
