**Danat Al Emarat, our Women's and Children's Hospital **in Abu Dhabi, is actively recruiting for a **Registered Midwife **, who would perform in charge duties as delegated by the Senior Registered/Charge Midwife/ Director of Nursing.

Job Summary
- Responsible in the provision of quality nursing care by maintaining accurate records in the EMR and in the maintenance of professional standards through continuing education and development.
- Responsible for the orientation and induction training of new, junior Registered Nurses and Practical Nurses.
- Accountable for ensuring all services rendered are consistent with their education and assessed competence, meet legislative requirements, and are supported by appropriate standards.
- Understands supports and promotes the mission, vision, and values of the organization.
- Provides age-appropriate patient care according to the Nursing Scope of Practice as defined by DoH.

Education Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited Nursing School/University
- Post graduate education in paediatrics preferred

Licenses, Registrations & Certifications Requirements
- Current DoH Nursing License
- Current Home Country license
- Current BLS Certificate
- Current PALS or PEARS preferred

Professional Experience Required (Relevant to the Job)
- At least 2 years clinical experience post-qualification
- No less than 1 years experience in pediatric nursing.

Working Conditions / Environment
- The incumbent will be required to work during weekends, public holidays and nights.
- May be required to work overtime depending on the needs of the Organization.
- This job may require the ability to continuously stand or walk. It may also require the ability to bend, squat and lift documents and files.
