Waitress Cashier

**Job Summary**:
The waiter/waitress is responsible for providing excellent customer service, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring a pleasant dining experience for guests. They must maintain a clean and organized work environment and work collaboratively with the kitchen and other staff to deliver high-quality service.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Customer Service**:

- Greet guests warmly and escort them to their tables.
- Present menus and provide detailed information about menu items, specials, and promotions.
- Answer questions regarding food and beverages.
- **Order Taking**:

- Take accurate food and beverage orders and input them into the system.
- Suggest menu items and upsell additional products when appropriate.
- **Serving**:

- Deliver food and beverages to tables promptly.
- Ensure orders are accurate and meet quality standards.
- Refill drinks and attend to guest needs throughout the meal.
- **Cleanliness and Organization**:

- Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations.
- Reset tables promptly after guests leave.
- **Team Collaboration**:

- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order delivery.
- Assist other team members during busy periods.
- **Payment Processing**:

- Present bills to guests and handle payment transactions.
- Ensure accurate cash handling and proper use of point-of-sale systems.
- **Compliance**:

- Adhere to health and safety regulations.
- Follow restaurant policies and procedures.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions.
- Prior experience in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of food and beverage service standards.

**Physical Requirements**:

- Ability to stand, walk, and carry trays for extended periods.
- Lift and carry items up to 25 pounds.

**Work Schedule**:

- Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

**Job Type**: Contract
Contract length: 24 months

Pay: AED1,700.00 - AED3,500.00 per month

**Experience**:

- server: 1 year (preferred)
